Prerequisites

The Customer Service Polishing Technician program is open to all those interested in pursuing a career in polishing. To enrol for the program, there are no mandatory candidate requirements, however it is recommended to have some technical comprehension, an interest for manual work, a good level of manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail.

  • Minimum age: candidates submitting their application must be at least 18 years old and must be of legal age* in their country / state of origin **
    • * of legal age: i.e must have reached the age at which, according to the laws of their country, they have full adult legal rights and responsibilities.
    • ** country / state of origin: country / state mentioned in their passport.

Program

The 640-hour WOSTEP Customer Service Polishing Technician program is the one to enable disassembling, reconditioning and reassembling of watchcases and bracelet components made of various base metals according to their technical and aesthetical characteristics. This certificate empowers to step on a promising polishing career worldwide.

CHF 8'300.- per person (accomodation and meals not included)

Participant

This program is open to all those who wish to train and acquire the various skills and techniques connected with external watch part polishing.

No previous experience in this field is required.

In order to obtain the WOSTEP certificate, participants must fulfill the WOSTEP conditions and pass both the intermediate and final examination.

 

Career opportunities

With the Customer Service Polishing Technician program, graduate candidates have opportunities to work in customer services, brand-service-centres, independent repair shops, vintage watch services, watch development and manufacturing.

Cancellation

If you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the beginning of the program, the fees will not be reimbursed.
