Training objectives
- To give the participants both a theoretical understanding and practical experience at the bench of these different chronographs, with particular emphasis on fault finding, repair and fine adjustment of the chronograph mechanism.
Prerequisites
The Chronograph course is open to all participants who have attended a watchmaking school and have a complementary experience in watch repairs. Watchmakers with no educational background equivalent or training, must have a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in watchmaking.

- Definitions and description of the main chronograph functions
- Study of various chronograph systems
Practice
Overhaul of 4 different chronograph:
- Lemania calibre 1873 / Omega calibre 1861 (Cam - traditional hammer)
- Valjoux calibre 7754 / ETA calibre 7754 (Cam - oscillating pinion)
- Frédéric Piguet calibre 1185 (Column wheel - vertical clutch)
- Dubois Dépraz calibre 2020 (Modular system)
Price
CHF 5’200.- per person (accommodation and meals not included)

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 12:00 / 13:30 – 17:00.
Cancellation
Please note, that if you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the beginning of the course, the fees will not be reimbursed.
