Training objectives

  • The Chronometry Adjustments course is open to all participants who have attended a watchmaking school or have a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in servicing watches

Prerequisites

The Chronometry Adjustments course is open to all participants who have attended a watchmaking school or have a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in servicing watches.

The participants need to possess the fundamentals skills and experience as performed in the Complete Service Standard Operations WOSTEP course.

We strongly stress the fact that these requirements are necessary in order to fully benefit from the Chronometry Adjustments WOSTEP course.

Program

Main topics

Escapement adjustment

  • Performing all the adjustments of the Swiss lever escapement
  • Performing fine adjustments on timing
  • Lubrication

Regulating organ

  • Truing and static poising of balance wheels
  • Truing of hairsprings
  • Dynamic poising

Price

CHF 4’200.- per person (accommodation and meals not included)

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 12:00 / 13:30 – 17:00.

Cancellation

Please note that, if you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the beginning of the course, the fees will not be reimbursed.
