WOSTEP Presidency : happy handover

The former and the latter, but the comparison ends there. 

It has been a long and fruitful presidency since 2016, during which Patrick Jaton initiated and successfully completed several major projects that have strengthened and enriched the WOSTEP Foundation over the years. His career and experience as an instructor at the Geneva School of Watchmaking, which he pursued alongside his duties as President, have also been of great benefit to our institution. 

After 9 fulfilling years, his vision and own projects for the future have led him to now pass the torch to a passionate advocate of watchmaking education, Ms Séverine Favre. Ms Favre's collaboration during her time as General Secretary at the Swiss Watchmaking Industry Employers' Convention was invaluable in implementing our modular training programs, while also allowing her to gain a thorough understanding of our inner workings early on. It is a smooth yet dynamic transition, about which the team is truly excited. 

We wish both the former and the new President much enjoyment and success in their new challenges.
